Evoker's gambit (DEMO)
A downloadable game for Windows
*This is a pre-alpha, but full core gameplay
We combined a city-building simulator and crafting to get an interesting turn-based strategy. In this game, you do not just build buildings, but change those that are there into the ones you need, spending and receiving resources.
Here's the thing
Each building can be obtained from several recipes and used in a number of recipes to obtain another building and/or resources, including units and other valuables. Thus, the same building can cost different amounts of different resources and require different time to obtain.
You get new buildings for sending resources from your city at the request of the company. And change these buildings into the ones you need.
Be careful, the more you interact with a particular building, the more fragility it accumulates and can disintegrate if you are not careful and do not take care to reduce this fragility.
The core mechanics are built around combining resources and buildings.
Put resource {2} into building {1}, it transmutes into building {3} and resource {4} is created at the moment of transformation.
The recipe shown will not work instantly but with a delay of one turn {5}, while starting such a recipe costs one turn and then you will need to move the turn with some other action. The resulting building will have more fragility than the original {6}.
* - How many buildings and resources of the specified type do you currently have
This game offers the familiar rich experience of any good resource management strategy. Variety of tools, deep core mechanics, time management, variable tasks and coincidences. It has everything you need to form strategies.
